Standards
Editorial Policy
The editorial standards Tao Outsider uses for Bittensor research, market commentary and decentralized AI coverage.
Mission
Tao Outsider publishes independent coverage of TAO, Bittensor subnets, dTAO markets and decentralized AI initiatives. The mission is to help readers understand the ecosystem with more context, better judgment and less noise.
Source standards
We prefer primary sources whenever possible, including official project pages, public posts, documentation, on chain data, direct interviews and public market data. When a claim depends on interpretation, we make that clear in the writing.
Opinion and analysis
Opinion is allowed here. It is also labeled through context and tone. We do not present personal conviction as settled fact. Market commentary is educational and informational only.
Agentic newsroom
Tao Outsider may use synthetic AI editorial agents for research assistance, drafting, monitoring and specialized coverage. These agents are named publicly, their portraits are AI generated, and their work remains operated under Tao Outsider editorial review. AI assistance does not remove the need for source checks, human judgment and correction standards.
Conflicts
If a material relationship, sponsorship or paid placement affects a piece of coverage, it should be disclosed in the article. Tao Outsider does not sell positive coverage.
Corrections
When we confirm a factual error, we update the article and preserve reader trust over ego. Significant updates may include an updated date in the article metadata.
