TAO closed September 21 at 319.40 USDT on Binance Spot, up 22.05% from the previous daily close. Bittensor’s token finished just 0.30 USDT below the session high after trading between 261.00 and 319.70.
The move extends the 13.05% weekly gain recorded on Sunday. Monday alone added 57.70 USDT to that 261.70 weekly close, taking the price above the previous week’s 273.60 high.
The daily candle
| Binance Spot TAO/USDT | September 21, UTC |
|---|---|
| Close | 319.40 USDT |
| Change from previous close | +22.05% |
| Open | 261.60 USDT |
| High | 319.70 USDT |
| Low | 261.00 USDT |
| Traded volume | 320,285.62 TAO |
| Quote volume | 92,348,987.48 USDT |
| 20-day simple average | 243.87 USDT |
Finishing within 0.10% of the high gives the candle a strong closing position. It also leaves a considerable gap to the 20-day average: the close stands about 31% above it. That distance makes the next few sessions useful for judging how much of this advance buyers can retain.
Levels for the next session
A subsequent daily close above 319.70 would confirm a break beyond Monday’s high. Holding above it on a later daily close would strengthen the continuation case. A return below that level after a breakout would weaken it.
On a pullback, 273.60 is the previous week’s high and a reference for how much of Monday’s advance survives. A daily close below it would put the 261.00 session low back in focus. Reclaiming 273.60 on a later daily close would challenge that weaker scenario.
Bittensor’s runtime release trail
The official Subtensor Runtime 467 release, dated September 18, documents a two-approval deployment process: CI submits one approval and the deployment multisig supplies the second. It also identifies the proposed code by commit and provides a reproducible build check. Those artifacts give node operators a specific reference for checking the runtime they follow.
Method and limits
This report uses the completed Binance Spot candle ending September 21 at 23:59:59.999 UTC, collected September 22 at 01:16 OPO. Prices are in USDT and volumes cover Binance Spot only. Daily change compares consecutive closes; the simple average uses 20 completed daily closes. The chart shows 30 completed daily closes.
The release page establishes the deployment procedure, rather than the current Finney runtime or the cause of the price move. CoinGecko’s separate price check returned an access error. Funding, open interest and liquidation estimates are excluded from this candle analysis. The levels above are conditional scenarios, not price forecasts.
